Within the Stockholm Football Cup, we strive for an even distribution between girls and boys teams . Now we would like to see the number of registrations from girls teams increase! Therefore, we will focus a little extra on the girls this week, partly to boost and inspire all the football girls out there, but also to call for more registrations from the girls teams.
If you represent a girls team and your team has not yet decided which summer cup to go to, then you are warmly welcome to register to SFC. Not only will you have a fantastic cup experience this summer, you are also involved and representatives of a big international cup that highlights girls and strives for an even distribution of teams!
If you instead represent a boys team, we encourage you to talk to your club's girls' teams to go to the cup together. We can guarantee that it will enhance the cup experience, as well as strengthen both the teams' and the club's community in the future!
We are many people in the cup organization who work to ensure that you have a fantastic cup summer 2022. Here are some of us girls who represent SFC :
Moa Wettby, manager of the referee organization
Moa is a role model in her involvement as a football referee and referees football on the highest level in Sweden. In 2019, she was awarded the prize "young referee of the year" by the Swedish Football association, and was then predicted to become a leader in Swedish football. We can do nothing but agree, therefore we chose to give her the leadership position of our referee organization for 2022.
